For the last 15 years I've taught massage therapist certification courses up and down, back and forth across America. My Stretch Your Clients and Releasing the Rotator Cuff seminars have succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. I've been blessed to be able to take my professional training and skills and share them with other caring professionals, including massage therapists, nurses, chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists and personal trainers. I am currently working on my next book, Releasing the Iliopsoas and Quadratus Lumborum: The Core of the Matter.
I'm Nationally Certified, receiving my initial training at the New Mexico Academy of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in Santa Fe and at Wellness Skills, Inc. in Dallas. I've taught Clinical Anatomy and Physiology, Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish Technique at Wellness Skills, Inc. I'm an approved CEU provider for the Texas Department of Health (CEU Provider #0007), the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and for the Florida Department of Health (Florida Provider #MCE-435-03).
Life takes us down many pathways and so I hold a Masters Degree in Dance from American University in Washington, D.C. I've taught dance and movement classes to all ages and populations including incarcerated women.I bring my eclectic and extensive background to my seminars for an enlightening and enjoyable experience. In my spare time I love to go dog sledding.
